We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
In pursuance of public interest, We have decided to make some changes to the ministries and to appoint some new ministers in order to grant certain government directorates and institutions more powers in view of their importance,
Article 1
Sayyid Fahr bin Taimur is hereby appointed Minister of Interior and Deputy Minister of Defence.
Article 2
Sayyid Hilal bin Hamad Al-Samar is hereby appointed Minister of Justice.
Article 3
Mohammed Al-Zubair is hereby appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry.
Article 4
Dr Mubarak Al-Khaduri is hereby appointed Minister of Health.
Article 5
Dr Asim Ali Al-Jamali is hereby appointed Minister without a Ministry and our Special Envoy.
Article 6
Said Ahmed Al-Shanfari is hereby appointed Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Oil, and Minerals.
Article 7
Karim Ahmed Al-Harami is hereby appointed Minister of Public Works.
Article 8
Engineer Abdulhafidh Salim Rajab is hereby appointed Minister of Transportation.
Article 9
Sheikh Buraik bin Hamoud Al-Ghafri is hereby appointed Minister without a Ministry and Wali of Dhofar.
Article 10
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
