We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The following are hereby transferred from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour to the Ministry of Housing:
(a） The Directorate General of Social Housing.
(b） The Directorate of Social Housing within the Directorate General of Social Affairs and Labour in the Southern Region.
Their allocations and budgets are also hereby transferred to the Ministry of Housing.
Article 2
The Organisational Structure of both the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour are hereby amended in accordance with the foregoing.
Article 3
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
