We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the draft Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Formation of a Joint Economic Cooperation Committee,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Minister of Commerce and Industry is hereby authorised to sign the mentioned Memorandum of Understanding Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Formation of a Joint Economic Cooperation Committee.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
