Royal Decree 94/88 Approving the Amendment to the Petroleum Agreement Signed with Japex Oman Limited on 4 July 1981

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 60/81 Ratifying the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Japex Oman Limited Signed on 4 July 1981,

and the letter of the Minister of Oil and Minerals dated 19 February 1987 approving the amendment of article 3(2) of the mentioned petroleum agreement,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned amendment to article 3(2) of the petroleum agreement signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and Japex Oman Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
