Royal Decree 53/89 Ratifying the Agreement on Cooperation Between the Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen in the Fields of Justice, Endowments, and Islamic Affairs

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and the Agreement on Cooperation Between the Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen in the Fields of Justice, Endowments, and Islamic Affairs signed in Muscat on 1 November 1988,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Agreement on Cooperation Between the Sultanate of Oman and the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen in the Fields of Justice, Endowments, and Islamic Affairs is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
