Royal Decree 11/91 Approving the Assignment by a Company of All Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 25 February 1985

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 42/74 Issuing the Oil and Minerals Law,

Royal Decree 41/85 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 25 February 1985 with North South Resources Limited,

Royal Decree 8/86 Approving the Transfer by Some Companies of Parts of Their Share in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 25 February 1985,

Royal Decree 85/89 Approving the Amendment of the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 25 February 1985,

the assignment contract dated 12 July 1990, under which Wintershall Oman BV assigned all its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 25 February 1985 to Trans World Oil Limited, which accepts this assignment,

and the letter of the Minister of Oil and Minerals dated 27 June 1990 approving the assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Wintershall Oman BVof all its rights and obligations in the mentioned petroleum agreement signed on 25 February 1985 to Trans World Oil Limited is hereby approved. The final shares of the parties to the agreement are as follows:

50% International Petroleum Limited.

50% Trans World Oil Limited.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
