Royal Decree 17/91 Appointing a President for the Commercial Disputes Tribunal

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 8/80 Issuing the Civil Service Law and its amendments,

Royal Decree 79/81 Establishing the Commercial Dispute Resolution Tribunal and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 80/81 Appointing a President for the Commercial Dispute Resolution Tribunal,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamdan Al-Sharji is hereby granted the special grade and appointed President of the Commercial Dispute Resolution Tribunal.

Article II

The mentioned Royal Decree 80/81 is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
