We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 32/88 Establishing the National Committee for Natural Disasters and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Article I of the mentioned Royal Decree 32/88 is hereby amended as follows:
Article I
The National Committee for Natural Disasters is hereby formed as follows:

| – Assistant to the Inspector General of Police and Customs | Deputy chairman |
| – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs | Member |
| – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment | Member |
| – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Ports and Civil Aviation Affairs | Member |
| – Two representatives of the Ministry of Defence | Two members |
| – A representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs | Member |
| – A representative of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities | Member |
| – Director General of the Public Authority for Stores and Food Reserve | Member |
The committee may invite to participate in any of its work whoever it deems necessary to seek assistance from in this work from government officials and others.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
