We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
the Banking Law 7/74 and its amendments,
and Royal Decree 36/86 Increasing the Capital of the Central Bank of Oman,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The capital of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby increased from one hundred million to one hundred and seventy-five million Rial Omani from 31 December 1990.
Article II
The Central Bank of Oman shall transfer the increase stipulated in article I of this decree from the reserves available to it.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette.
