Royal Decree 70/93 Abolishing the Planning Committee for Development and Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 48/84 Establishing the Planning Committee for Development and Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 27/85 Establishing a Supreme Committee for Town Planning,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Planning Committee for Development and Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar is hereby abolished, and its powers, allocations, and records are hereby transferred to the Supreme Committee for Town Planning, and the officers working in it are hereby transferred to it.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
