Royal Decree 66/94 Making Transfers and Appointments in the Diplomatic Corps

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Ahmed bin Omar bin Taher Baomar is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tunisia.

Article II

Ambassador Hilal bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi, Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Burkina Faso.

Article III

Ambassador Ali bin Salim bin Bader Al-Hinai is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Kingdom of Thailand.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
