We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
It is not permitted to assign or seize the salaries, allowances, and officers of employees of the administrative apparatus of the state and others whose employment affairs are governed by laws, royal decrees, or special rules, except to fulfil a legal maintenance or a fixed debt to the government, and that is within the limits of a quarter of the salary, allowance, or entitlement. In the case of concurrence, priority is given to the maintenance debt.
Article II
All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.
Article III
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
