Royal Decree 118/94 Appointing Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Hilal bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi, Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, is hereby transferred and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Article II

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al-Dhahab, Our ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is hereby transferred and appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the United States of America.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
