Royal Decree 33/95 Ratifying the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

Royal Decree 51/93 Authorising the Signing of the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States,

and the mentioned agreement signed on 5 May 1995,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States is hereby ratified.

Article II

Competent entities shall deposit the instruments of ratification in accordance with the provisions of this convention.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
