Royal Decree 53/98 Transferring Ambassadors to the Headquarters of the Foreign Ministry

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The ambassadors named below are hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry:

– Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Said Al-Kharousi, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

– Ambassador Ahmed bin Omar bin Taher Baomar, Our ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia.

– Ambassador Mohammed bin Tahir bin Alawi Aideed, Our ambassador to the Republic of India.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
