We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
the Constitution of the World Health Organization,
and the decision of the World Health Assembly WHA 51-23 adopted on 16 May 1998 at the fifty-first session,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The amendment of articles 24 and 25 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization is hereby approved, in accordance with the mentioned decision of the World Health Assembly.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
