We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and Royal Decree 65/98 Establishing the Higher Education Council,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The following are hereby appointed members of the Higher Education Council:
– Dr Sheikh Al-Yaqdhan bin Talib Al-Hinai.
– Sheikh Salim bin Hilal Al-Khalili.
– Dr Thuwayba bint Ahmed bin Issa Al-Barwani.
– Engineer Ali bin Mohammed Al-Mahrouqi.
– Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Kalmour.
– Dr Amer bin Awadh bin Ahmed Al-Rawas.
– Muneer bin Abdulnabi Makki.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
