Royal Decree 22/2000 Issuing the System of Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for the Officers of the Internal Security Service

Arabic 

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 7/94 Establishing the Internal Security Service Pension Fund and its amendments,

and the Service System for the Officers of the Internal Security Service issued by Royal Decree 9/98,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The attached System of Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for the Officers of the Internal Security Service hereby applies.

Article II

All rights that arose or resulted from the application of any law, system, or rules relating to retirement of the ISS officers before the date of entry into force of this decree are considered valid and effective.

Article III

The head of the ISS shall issue the necessary regulations and decisions to implement the provisions of the attached system.

Article IV

All that is contrary to the attached system, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
