Royal Decree 58/2001 Recomposing the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 60/96 Establishing the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council,

the Financial Law issued by Royal Decree 47/98 and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 47/2001 Amending the Ministerial Formation,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council is hereby recomposed under Our chairmanship and the membership of:

– Minister of National Economy Supervisor of the Ministry of Finance—Deputy chairman.

– Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman.

– Minister of Oil and Gas.

– Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs.

– Minister of Interior.

– Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Foreign Communications.

– Minister of Transport and Communications.

– Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.

– Minister of Commerce and Industry.

– Minister of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources.

– Minister of Housing, Electricity, and Water.

– The Economic Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court.

– Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Financial Affairs.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
