Royal Decree 117/2001 Appointing an Ambassador

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Counsellor Moosa bin Hamdan bin Moosa Al-Tai is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Korea.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
