Royal Decree 88/2002 Ratifying Resolution 3/1 Adopted in the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 119/94 Acceding to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal 1989,

and Resolution 3/1 adopted in Geneva in 1995 at the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Resolution 3/1 is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
