Royal Decree 90/2002 Extending the Term of the Oman Aviation Services Company and Rectifying Its Legal Status in Accordance with the Commercial Companies Law

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Commercial Companies Law 4/74 and its amendments,

Royal Decree 33/74 Regarding Companies Established by Royal Decree,

Royal Decree 50/75 Issuing the Civil Aviation Law,

Royal Decree 52/81 Establishing Oman Aviation Services Company and its amendments,

and the Law Granting the Concession for the Management and Operation of Seeb and Salalah Airports issued by Royal Decree 102/2001,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The term of Oman Aviation Services Company is hereby extended from the date of its expiry on 31 January 2002 until 31 December 2002, or until its legal status is rectified in accordance with the provisions of the mentioned Commercial Companies Law, whichever is earlier.

Article II

The company shall rectify its legal status in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law within a deadline no later than 31 December 2002.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
