Royal Decree 21/2005 Approving the Accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol Attached to It on Aircraft Equipment

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment signed in Cape Town on 16 November 2001 and the protocol attached to it on aircraft equipment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the mentioned convention and the mentioned protocol attached to it is hereby approved.

Article II

Competent entities shall undertake the procedures for accession to the mentioned convention and protocol in accordance with their provisions.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
