Royal Decree 65/2005 Ratifying C105 Convention of 1957 on the Abolition of Forced Labour and C138 Convention of 1973 on the Minimum Age for Admission to Employment

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Convention C105 adopted by the General Conference of the International Labour Organization on the Abolition of Forced Labour on 25 June 1957,

and Convention C138 adopted by the General Conference of the International Labour Organization on the Minimum Age for Admission to Employment on 26 June 1973,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned conventions are hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
