Royal Decree 35/2008 Amending the Name of Seeb International Airport to Muscat International Airport

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the royal decree repealing the decree issued on 8 May 1972 regarding changing the name of Mazoon Airport to Oman International Airport,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The name of Seeb International Airport is hereby amended to Muscat International Airport.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 February 2008.
