Royal Decree 64/2008 Appointing Non-Resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry issued by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Dr Bader bin Mohammed bin Zahir Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to the Republic of Austria, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Croatia.

Article II

Ambassador Hafidh bin Salim bin Mohammed Baomar, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
