Royal Decree 2/2009 Annexing the Office of the Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Foreign Communications to the Diwan of Royal Court

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Law Concerning the Financial System of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 128/91,

the Law on Pensions and End of Service Gratuity for Omani Officers of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 86/96,

the Law Concerning the Officer System of the Diwan of Royal Court issued by Royal Decree 97/97,

and Royal Decree 47/2008 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Office of the Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Foreign Communications is hereby annexed to the Diwan of Royal Court.

Article II

All applicable laws of the Diwan of Royal Court shall apply to the Office of the Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for foreign communications and its employees.

Article III

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
