Royal Decree 62/2010 Appointing Permanent Representatives

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al-Harthy, Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, is hereby appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate to the League of Arab States.

Article II

Ambassador Dr Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al-Busaidi, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is hereby appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate to the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
