Royal Decree 23/2011 Approving the Assignment by Tethys Oil AB of 20% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 9 February 2003 (Blocks 3 and 4) to Mitsui E&P Limited

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Oil and Gas Law promulgated by Royal Decree 8/2011,

Royal Decree 28/2003 Approving the Petroleum Agreement Between the Government of the Sultanate and Encana International Company,

Royal Decree 8/2006 Approving the Assignment by Encana International Company of 50% of Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 9 February 2003 to Denerco Oil Company,

Royal Decree 109/2010 Approving the Assignment of Altinex Oil Denmark AS of All Its Rights and Obligations in the Petroleum Agreement Signed on 9 February 2003 (Blocks 3 and 4) to Tethys Oil AB,

and the collection of documents by which Tethys Oil AB has assigned 20% of its rights and obligations in the Petroleum Agreement signed on 9 February 2003 to Mitsui E&P Limited, which accepts this assignment,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The assignment by Tethys Oil AB of 20% of its rights and obligations in the petroleum agreement signed on 9 February 2003 to Mitsui E&P Limited is hereby approved.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
