Royal Decree 67/2011 Appointing Non-Resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Sheikh Humaid bin Ali bin Sultan Al-Maani, Our ambassador to the Republic of India, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Article II

Ambassador Sheikh Yahya bin Abdullah bin Salim Al-Fannah Al-Araimi, Our ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Tajikistan.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
