Royal Decree 119/2020 Amending Some Provisions of Royal Decree 62/2013 Establishing the National Museum and Promulgating Its System

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Royal Decree 62/2013 Establishing the National Museum and Promulgating Its System,

the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 75/2020,

and Royal Decree 91/2020 Amending the Name of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture to the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Determining Its Competences, and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows 

Article I 

A new article is hereby added to the aforementioned Royal Decree 62/2013 with the following text:

Article I bis 

The National Museum shall be under the royal patronage of His Majesty the Sultan. 

Article II 

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
