Royal Decree 21/95 Making Appointments and Transfers in the Diplomatic Corps

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Awadh bin Mahfoodh bin Ali Bakthir, Our ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Article II

Sheikh Bader bin Salim bin Hamoud Al-Siyabi is hereby appointed an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Yemen.

Article III

Ambassador Mohammed bin Taher bin Alawi Aideed, Our ambassador to the Republic of India, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Seychelles.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
