Royal Decree 14/2008 Appointing a Vice Chancellor for Sultan Qaboos University

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and Royal Decree 71/2006 Issuing the Law of Sultan Qaboos University and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Ali bin Saud bin Ali Al-Baimani is hereby appointed Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
