Royal Decree 111/2007 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law issued by Royal Decree 40/86,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Turkmenistan.

Article II

Ambassador Aflah bin Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al-Tai, Our ambassador to Malaysia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of the Philippines.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
