Royal Decree 104/2007 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman

Arabic 

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

Royal Decree 114/2000 issuing the Banking Law,

and Royal Decree 61/2002 Forming the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman is hereby formed under Our chairmanship and the membership of the following:

1. Dr Ali bin Mohammed bin Moosa—deputy chairman

2. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Khusaibi—representing the Ministry of Finance

3. Hamoud bin Sangour bin Hashim Al-Zadjali         

4. Yahya bin Said bin Abdullah Al-Jabri         

5. Mohsin bin Haider bin Darwish    

6. Dr Hatim bin Bakheet Al-Shanfari 

The membership is for a period of five years from the date of entry into force of this decree.

Article II

All that is contrary to this decree, or in conflict with its provisions, is hereby repealed.

Article III

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 11 June 2007.
