Royal Decree 39/2024 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

and the Law Governing the Foreign Ministry promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al-Rahbi, Our ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Ecuador.

Article II

Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Araimi, Our ambassador to the French Republic, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Portuguese Republic and the Principality of Monaco.

Article III

Malallah bin Mahmoud bin Shaaban Al-Balushi, Our ambassador to Hungary, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Moldova.

Article IV

Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Al-Jahwari, Our ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Turkmenistan, Georgia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
