Royal Decree 52/98 Appointing a Permanent Representative of the Sultanate to the United Nations in New York

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Advisor Fuad bin Mubarak bin Ali Al-Hinai is hereby granted the title of ambassador and appointed Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
