We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law promulgated by Royal Decree 40/86,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
Ambassador Sheikh Ghazi bin Said bin Abdullah Al-Bahar Al-Rawas, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the European Commission and the European Union.
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
