Royal Decree 51/2025 Transferring the Directorate General of Medical Services from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Health

We, Haitham bin Tarik, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State,

Royal Decree 33/2013 Regarding the Medical and Allied Health Professions in Government Medical Establishments (Civil and Military),

the System of the Administrative Apparatus of the State issued by Royal Decree 75/2020,

Royal Decree 71/2021 Adopting the Organisational Structure of the Diwan of Royal Court,

and Royal Decree 10/2024 Determining the Competences of the Ministry of Health and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The Directorate General of Medical Services is hereby transferred from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Health.

Article II

All allocations, assets, rights, obligations, and holdings of the Directorate General of Medical Services are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Health.

Article III

Those occupying medical and allied health professions and other officials in the Directorate General of Medical Services are hereby transferred to the Ministry of Health with their same employment status, grades, and financial allocations.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
