We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and the Law of Sultan Qaboos University issued by Royal Decree 9/86 and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Sultan Qaboos University Council is hereby recomposed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education and the membership of the following:
Minister of Education—Deputy Chairman
Vice chancellor of the university
Minister of Health
Minister of National Economy
Minister of Social Affairs, Labour, and Vocational Training
Minister of Legal Affairs
Minister of Civil Service
Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
