We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article I
The Economic Coordination Council is hereby recomposed under the chairmanship of the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and the membership of:
1. Minister of National Economy—Deputy Chairman
2. Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs
3. Sheikh Mustahail bin Ahmed Al-Maashni—Advisor to the State
4. Minister of Transport and Communications
5. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman
6. Minister of Commerce and Industry
7. Minister of Legal Affairs
8. Minister of Regional Municipalities, Environment, and Water Resources
9. Minister of Housing, Electricity, and Water
10. Inspector General of Police and Customs
Article II
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
