Royal Decree 57/91 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Mussalam bin Bakheet bin Zaidan Al-Baraami, Our ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Rwanda and the Republic of Burundi.

Article II

Ambassador Mohammed bin Salim bin Said Al-Shanfari, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Mali.

Article III

Ambassador Salim bin Mohammed bin Salim Al-Wahaibi, Our ambassador to the Republic of India, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros.

Article IV

Ambassador Hamad bin Hilal bin Ali Al-Maamari, Our ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the United Republic of Tanzania.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
