Royal Decree 19/91 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al-Dhahab—Our ambassador to the United Kingdom—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to Ireland and the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Article II

Ambassador Rashid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Lamki—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Gabonese Republic.

Article III

Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Zahir Al-Hinai—Our ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Article IV

Ambassador Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Rasbi—Our ambassador to the Republic of Italy—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Republic of Romania, the Republic of Malta, and the Hellenic Republic.

Article V

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
