The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الدينية) is the entity responsible for managing awqaf (endowments) and bait al-mal property, administering zakat, building and overseeing mosques, supervising preaching and religious guidance, and organising Hajj for Omani pilgrims. It also manages the property of orphans and minors.
