Royal Decree 18/90 Appointing Non-resident Ambassadors

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,

and Royal Decree 40/86 Issuing the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Ambassador Ali bin Salim bin Bader Al-Hinai—Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the United Republic of Tanzania.

Article II

Ambassador Awadh bin Bader bin Marie Al-Shanfari—Our ambassador to the United States of America—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Republic of Bolivia.

Article III

Rashid bin Nasser bin Sulaiman Al-Lamki—Our ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria—is hereby appointed a non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ours to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Article IV

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
