We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of Royal Decree 26/75 Issuing the Law Governing the Administrative Apparatus of the State and its amendments,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
The formation of the Council of Ministers is hereby amended as follows:
1. Sayyid Fahr bin Taimur Al-Said is hereby appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defence Affairs.
2. Sayyid Fahad bin Mahmoud Al-Said is hereby appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Legal Affairs.
3. Sayyid Faisal bin Ali Al-Said is hereby appointed Minister of National Heritage and Culture.
4. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Ghazali is hereby appointed Minister of Land Affairs and Municipalities.
5. Dr Asim Al-Jamali is hereby appointed Minister of Environment Affairs.
6. Said Ahmed Al-Shanfari is hereby appointed Minister of Oil and Minerals.
7. Engineer Abdulhafidh Salim Rajab is hereby appointed Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
8. Yahya Mahfoodh Al-Mandhari is hereby appointed Minister of Education.
9. Badr bin Saud bin Harib is hereby appointed Minister of Interior.
10. Abdulaziz Al-Rawas is hereby appointed Minister of Information and Youth Affairs.
Article 2
This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
