We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman
after perusal of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law 50/74,
based on the matters presented to Us by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
and in pursuance of public interest,
have decreed as follows
Article 1
Ambassador Ahmed Makki, Our ambassador to the United States of America, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the French Republic and the Swiss Confederation.
Ambassador Farid Mubarak Al-Hinai, Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the United States of America.
Ambassador Malallah Ali Habib, Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the Imperial State of Iran.
Ambassador Sadiq Jawad Suleiman, Our ambassador to Iran, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Ambassador Badr bin Saud Al-Busaidi, Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Ambassador Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Harthy, Our ambassador to Tunisia, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al-Lamki, Our ambassador to Algeria, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.
Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jamali, Our ambassador to the French Republic, is hereby transferred to be Our ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Ambassador Mahmoud Abu Al-Nasr is hereby appointed Permanent Representative of the Sultanate to the United Nations in New York.
Ambassador Ahmed Hamoud Al-Maamari, Our ambassador to the Yemen Arab Republic, is hereby transferred to the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
Counsellor Nizar Mohammed Ali is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed ambassador of the Sultanate to the Italian Republic.
Counsellor Salim Ismail Suwaid is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed ambassador of the Sultanate to Algeria.
Counsellor Mohammed Said Al-Marhoon is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and is hereby appointed ambassador to the Yemen Arab Republic.
Counsellor Qasim Abdulrasool Al-Jamali is hereby granted the title of ambassador, and appointed ambassador of the Sultanate to the State of Kuwait.
Article 2
Those concerned shall implement this decree from the date of its issuance, and it must be published in the Official Gazette.
