Royal Decree 114/2008 Ratifying the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion signed in Hanoi on 11 Rabi Al-Thani 1429, corresponding to 18 April 2008,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 113/2008 Renewing the Period Stipulated in Article 5 of Royal Decree 30/2008 Issuing the Law on Juvenile Accountability

Arabic We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and Royal Decree 30/2008 Issuing the Law on Juvenile Accountability, and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The period stipulated in article V of the aforementioned Royal Decree 30/2008 Issuing the Law on Juvenile Accountability is hereby renewed for six months. The Council of Ministers may—if necessary—renew this article before its expiry.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 9 September 2008. Issued on: 7 Shawwal 1429 Corresponding to: 7 October 2008

the Civil Service Law promulgated by Royal Decree 120/2004,

and Royal Decree 71/2006 Issuing the Law of Sultan Qaboos University and Adopting Its Organisational Structure,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Dr Ali bin Saud bin Ali Al-Bimani—Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University—is hereby granted the special grade.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
