Royal Decree 101/2005 Ratifying the Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Korea for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Korea for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income signed in Seoul on 19 Sha’ban 1426, corresponding to 22 September 2005,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Korea for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

and the Judicial Authority Law promulgated by Royal Decree 90/99 and its amendments,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The provisions of the attached law shall apply in regard to mediation and conciliation.

Article II

This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force after six months from the date of its publication.
