We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Civil Service Law issued by Royal Decree 8/80 and its amendments,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

Nasser bin Khamis bin Ali Al-Jashmi is hereby appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.

Article I

Chief Air Commodore Pilot Yahya bin Rashid Al-Juma is hereby promoted to the rank of Air Vice-Marshal and appointed Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on 1 February 2003.

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State issued by Royal Decree 101/96,

and the Border Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates Concerning the Borders from Eastern Uqaidat to Darah signed in the city of Abu Dhabi on 11 Rabi Al-Thani 1423, corresponding to 22 June 2002,

and in pursuance of public interest,

have decreed as follows

Article I

The mentioned Border Agreement Between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates Concerning the Borders from Eastern Uqaidat to Darah is hereby ratified.

Article II

This decree must be published in the Official Gazette, and comes into force on the date of its issuance.
